WEB At 1233 am On a cool June night in Lexington the Kentucky baseball program accomplished a goal more than 100 years in the making.
The Kentucky Wildcats baseball team defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores 6-3 on Saturday night to clinch at least a share of the Southeastern Conference regular season championship.
The Wildcats are now 39-13 overall and 21-9 in the SEC, while the Commodores are 29-18 overall and 18-12 in the SEC.
Kentucky will host Vanderbilt for the series finale on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
