Las Vegas, Jeddah, and Shanghai Return With Exciting Additions
Formula 1 has released the 2024 season calendar, featuring a diverse and thrilling lineup of races across the globe. The 24 races will visit iconic circuits and introduce new destinations, providing fans with an unforgettable racing experience.
Notable returns include the Las Vegas Grand Prix, last held in 1982, and the Shanghai Grand Prix, which has been absent since 2019 due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Jeddah Corniche Circuit, known for its high-speed straights and challenging corners, will also make a second appearance.
Two new races add further excitement to the calendar: the Qatar Grand Prix at the Losail International Circuit and the South African Grand Prix at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. These additions showcase Formula 1's global reach and commitment to expanding its fan base.
Other highlights of the 2024 season include the iconic Monaco Grand Prix, the historic Silverstone circuit, and the high-altitude challenge of the Mexican Grand Prix. The calendar culminates in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the traditional season-ending event.
